Problem:
Konecranes Canada needed 3 new In Plant Offices and a storage Mezzanine for their new state-of-the-art head office in Burlington, Ontario. One of their primary concerns was sound reduction for the office units since they would be situated in a busy production area.

Solution:
Konecranes Canada approached ProPart Modular, and many other providers, for a quote. It was determined that not only would ProPart Modular System 40™ meet the 40db requirement but would in fact exceed it. With an STC45 rating using Roxul Plus Insulation in the wall cavities of the System 40™ offices, this was exactly what Konecranes was looking for. It was pointed out that although ProPart Modular’s quote wasn’t the least expensive, they offered the best solution. As an added bonus, because modular units take significantly less time to complete, all principal construction was finished within 4 days. This included all three In Plant Offices, totalling approximately 1,200 square feet as well as the storage Mezzanine.
